We are very exited to have Szalka Sára Villő with her first solo show at The Red Door.
Phase Transition marks a departure from her past work.

The exhibition will be opened by: painter artist Bredár Bora
The exhibition concept was written by Jacopo Pallagrosi.
Sára Villő Szalka’s Phase Transitions captures the passage by which our experiences move from the indeterminate to the determinate – as when a thought begins to take shape before becoming articulate, an image wavers before settling into focus, or an emotion is felt without yet having precise contours. Her paintings inhabit the threshold between abstraction and figuration, rendering visible the moment when amorphous complexes of qualities begin to crystallize into definite shape and structure.

Szalka Sára Villő Fázisátalakulás című sorozata azt az átmenetet ragadja meg, amely során élményeink az determinálatlanból a meghatározottba lépnek át – mint amikor egy gondolat formát ölt, mielőtt kimondhatóvá válna; egy kép elmosódva lebeg, mielőtt élessé válna; vagy megjelenik egy érzés, mielőtt pontos körvonalakat kapna. Festményei az absztrakció és a figuráció határán léteznek, láthatóvá téve azt a pillanatot, amikor a formátlan minőségek összetett rendszerei elkezdenek kristályosodni, meghatározott alakot és szerkezetet nyerni.

The RED DOOR Mac-N-Cheese and Rosé Music Series

We are back with another MAC-N-CHEESE and ROSÉ NIGHT MUSIC SERIES at The Red Door. We are thrilled to host E.W. Harris. This will be his first time playing the Red Door.
The cost is 5,000 HUF per person. All proceeds go to the artist. CASH I cannot take CREDIT CARDS.
E.W. will play two sets. I will make, depending on how many respond, a ton of my famous Mac-N-Cheese (dare I say legendary?), and there will be a case of cold Rosé . Bring your own too, so we don’t run out. Last time was a blast.
